This is the story of the life reborn of Ossona, a hamlet in Val d'Hérens in the Valais canton, which was abandoned in the sixties and has now become the pilot project for an agro-tourism site. From 2005 to 2008, we followed the restoration of this site listed as a sustainable development zone, and those involved in the project.

The Way Over

After German troops occupied the whole French territory in November 1942, refugee children were hunted down in the former “free” zone, among them those at the Chateau de Hille, under the protection of the Swiss Red Cross. Geneva, November 9 1932. A party of fascist tendency, the Union Nationale set up an assembly to “publicly accuse Messrs. Nicole and Dicker”, two Geneva socialist leaders. The General Strike of 1918

The film tells of a historical Swiss moment: the general strike of 1918 and its myths. The authors had access to numerous extracts of archives, collections or historical works published after the official archives were declassified in 1968.
